Raising awareness. Promoting healthy sight and wellness.
At Transitions, we are committed to raising awareness of the need for Healthy Sight and wellness and to informing consumers about the opportunity to enjoy better sight today and to protect their eyes for the future. And we have created a number of innovative advertisements to help raise this awareness.
For our latest television and print advertising campaigns, Transitions Optical, Inc. turned to a group of professional nature photographers and cinematographers who rely on their Transitions® lenses to see their best everyday in changing light and weather conditions and who want to help protect their precious sight for the future.
Our television commercial takes us to Namibia, Africa where our cinematographer spends hours upon hours in the wild trying to capture the natural wonder of our planet. She is exposed to harsh environmental conditions while she is waiting patiently to snap a glimpse of some of this earth's most precious species. She recognizes how important her sight is to her work and so, in order to see better today and everyday in all light conditions, she chooses Transitions lenses. She also knows that Transitions lenses can help protect her eyes from the potential damaging effects of ultra violet rays, just like sunblock protects her skin. Her sight is a precious resource, as is this planet of ours. She knows just how important it is to enhance the quality of her vision today and to help preserve and protect the health and wellbeing of her sight for tomorrow.
For our magazine ads, we joined these world-class National Geographic nature photographers and Transitions lens wearers on their photo shoots around the world. Our intent was to witness how their Transitions lenses were the perfect choice to react to changing light-reducing eyestrain, glare and fatigue, and protecting the photographers' eyes from UV damage and sunburn
The National Geographic nature photographers shared with us how important having Transitions lenses is to them - not only for carrying out their work, but for ensuring that they are taking precautions to preserve their precious eyesight for the future. As the photographers say in the ads:
"You can replace a camera, but you only have one pair of eyes."
