Golf has always been a part of Trevor Immelman's life. Born in South Africa, he began playing the sport at age five, following in the footsteps of his older brother, Mark, a golf teacher. Trevor was a scratch player by the age of 12 and went on to play four years on the African Junior Golf Association Tour. Trevor's father, Johan, is the former commissioner of the Sunshine Tour.
Trevor was the winner of the 2008 Masters Tournament. His win at Augusta was his first career major championship and his second win on the PGA TOUR. In addition to his two PGA TOUR wins in the U.S., Immelman has won multiple tournaments internationally and was named PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year in 2006.
